Who We Are

We are so glad you are discovering about us at FBC!
We hope you feel welcomed and experience the love of Christ in our congregation.

History

First Baptist Church Tullahoma has a rich history rooted in faith and community. Established in 1875, the church has been a cornerstone of the Tullahoma community for over a century.

Throughout its history, FBC Tullahoma has been committed to making disciples from here to the ends of the earth. The church has played a significant role in the spiritual and social development of Tullahoma, providing various ministries and programs to meet the needs of its members and the community.

Mission and Values

At FBC, our mission is to “make disciples from here to the ends of the Earth.” We believe that the gospel is the power of God unto salvation (Romans 1:16) and that it’s essential for us to share this good news with the world.

To accomplish our mission, we focus on seven qualities that were present in the early church:

Maturing in the Word: We believe a deep understanding of God’s Word is essential for spiritual growth.

Making Supplication: We value prayer as a powerful tool for connecting with God and seeking His will.

Meaningful Fellowship: We strive to create a community where believers can support and encourage one another.

Miracles Performed: We believe in God’s supernatural power and witness His miracles in our lives and in the world.

Ministry in the Body: We encourage all members to use their gifts and talents to serve the church and the community.

Magnifying God: We seek to glorify God in all we do and to point others to Him.

Missions, Disciple-Making, and Evangelism: We believe that making disciples who make disciples is the core of our mission.

We are committed to making missions, disciple-making, and evangelism central to everything we do. The other six qualities will naturally follow if we prioritize the Great Commission.

We invite you to join us on this journey as we seek to advance the kingdom of God. Together, we can make disciples who make disciples from here to the ends of the earth.
